I am partial to the row machines myself.

I find when I use the elliptical machine its easy to slack, it can be effective if you really push yourself and increase resistance, but its easy to just move slowly and not work too hard on it. Many can really boost your heart rate and burn big calories.

Running definately burns the most calories, but hardest on your joints. Jogging burns a pretty good amount of calories, but it is still bad on your joints....I hate to say this, but walking are for people that can't jog or run...does nothing for a person unless you are obese. My favorite is jogging....never gets old.

Walking has many benefits beyond burning calories . If anyone needs to burn off so many calories that walking is a waste of time they should just eat less
