FAT info
#1

Too much saturated fat*Saturated fat – the kind found in animal products – attacks your body on a variety of fronts. ‘It raises your levels of LDL or “bad” cholesterol, which causes furred arteries and increases the risk of cardiovascular problems,’ says Norris. ‘It also increases the likelihood of developing certain cancers, including that of the prostate and small intestine.’ The British Heart Foundation recommends men eat no more than 30g of saturated fat per day.

i know i do more than 30g on most days and on bulk well over
i think that as long as eat enough veg and get fiber requirments
animal fats aint bad
in fact no fats are bad (maybe trans fats are)
there are poeple in ice parts of world also who eat raw meat everyday nothing else but get fiber from eating the offell and stuff from seal or what ever it is they eat
people just really need to stop eating so much crap
and just eat real foods

So prehistoric man only ate a little bit of animal fat! Or maybe he did actually eat the whole animal and died of a heart attack at a very young age.

And just maybe nature completely fucked up by designing a creature (us) that was designed to eat food that was going to kill us!

Don't know about anyone else but I've yet to see a Benecol cow that churns out good old healthy cholesterol busting butter that's full of plant sterols! Or is that man's input?

You knew I'd bite on this, didn't you Eazy? Big Grin

Cutting out fat*Fat may be high in calories but we need it for many reasons. ‘Fat-soluble vitamins, such as A and E, are found in healthy unsaturated fats from fish and olive oil,

These good fats help lower cholesterol and keep arteries clear and are needed to synthesise hormones.’
