I was driving and rolled down my window when I use to smoke and a piece flew in and hit me in my open eye. The dr said I was nuts for not coming in immediately

i was a dumbass once and chose to wear my contacts out to the field for a week...in the dessert, lead to a corneal ulcer/scar

Only time I ever went to "sick call" in the army was days after I got a piece of ice in my eye that put a hole in my cornea

Same with me. I still haven't besides stitches here or there but knock on wood I am in good health.
