it was the narcotic effect that almost got me, my diving partner had to pull me back up to a much shallowe depth before I started feeling normal again

the pressure isn't the problem, the problem is the nitrogen and oxygen you're breathing, oxygen is extremely toxic at that depth and nitrogen has a narcotic effect so you have the feelingof being very drunk which is really bad at that depth
