Here is a question? Hopefully i will get several peoples answers! I am a little overweight i feel. Have a gut and fat around the chest but at the same time muscular. If i am trying to build muscle and i know carbs are neccessary to help muscle growth, can the fat on my body be used for energy instead of eating more carbs? Or should i lower the carb intake? I confused cause i know muscles dont grow on protein alone the need that spike from carbs? Bbottom line could i lose some weight by cutting the carbs alot and use bodyfat ?

I would write down what i eat everyday, then adjust your carb intake as time goes on! all i ever needed was to look in the mirror,im not about to step on stage, not sure you are either, ive said this a 1000 times, you are your best judge! also you didnt explain your goals so if you want to lose weight, jus burn more cals than you consume!..IMO nothing wrong with carring around a few extra pounds during the winter months!..prolly wont but hope this helps!!..stay healthy bro!

I can see what your saying. well.i just trying to lose some bodyfat while gaining muscle. like i said i know carbs are also needed to gain musle. Carbs are needed for energy and protein synthesis. So i guess i can cut back on the carbs and stay withe the protein. i just dont wanna risk my body losing out on musle gains
