I've actually been a member here for a long time, I thought it was 2020 but it seems before that. Which makes sense. I was in college and I graduated in 2016. Life really does throw shit at you fast. I was pulled me away for a while. Between finishing college and building my career, I just didn't have much time to stay active.
Professionally, I work in social services, but I also have a background in web design, 3D art, branding, and logo design. Creativity has always been a big part of who I am.
Fitness has been one of my biggest challenges because I only have half a thyroid. My metabolism doesn't exactly cooperate. I can't eat 2,000 calories and expect to lose body fat like a lot of people can. For me, fat loss doesn't really happen until I'm around 1,300 calories, so I've had to get smarter with my training. I push myself with intense workouts so I can burn enough to eat a little more while still making progress. It's taken a lot of trial and error, but I've learned what works for my body.
I'm finally able to dive back into fitness after a long-term breakup, and I have to admit it's nice not having someone nagging me about spending time in the gym anymore. 😂
Right now I'm finishing my cut. I'm around 150 pounds, have some visible abs, and I'm trying to get as lean as I reasonably can. After that, the goal is to slowly build quality muscle and work my way up to around 180 pounds with a much bigger frame. It's a long game, but I enjoy the process.
Right now I cannot see anyones new post but I am trying to fix that and become more involved. I had nothing but greate experience here, I think I did a few cycles. I am at a new gym and I do no t want to go around asking anyone so all this is great timing for me if I can get past these delays on Crypto.
