Music has many benefits when it is included as part of a regular exercise regimen. Upbeat tunes can be motivating even for reluctant exercisers, and a well chosen song can help regulate movements and coordination for a more rigorous, consistent workout. Focusing on lyrics and rhythm can also distract you from the fatigue of a workout and help you build better endurance. Some songs, such as dance mixes and specialized aerobics songs, can also help coordinate an entire workout from warm up to cool down. By choosing great workout music, you can feel more energetic and optimistic about your exercise routines, which in turn can help you develop better exercise habits or a healthy lifestyle.
what do you listen to that really energizes you?

I normally don't listen to music, I like to focus 100% on what I'm doing.
If I do decide to listen to something then it will just be whats playing in the gym.
(The focus tends to dissapear when a fit bird walks in though)

I can work out to anything. Even reggae. Especially reggae.

I just listen to what ever music is on in the gym, inbetween set's.
But I do choose my music more carefully when driving to the gym, to get me in the right mindset.

I use music like a tool to make me more aggressive. Lift heavier and harder.
