I've heard that taking pictures is a good way to track progression. Do you guys do that? If so, how frequently do you take pictures?

I'm aiming for 6 to 8 months but it may be longer!

motivation... everytime I throw another 5lb on a lift, 1lb on the body, run a bit faster, improve in any way... its motivation to get it going cuz I know how easy it is to go backwards and that if you dont keep at it you lose it quick and I dont like workin hard just to lose it from a day of lazyness.... NO EXCUSES!!!! FUCKIN DO IT!!!! Someone else out there is always bigger, faster, stronger!!!! Dont forget that! Be the best YOU that YOU can be!!

Tracking progression of body growth... Journal and tape measure. Seeing the numbers get bigger is great motivation

That's a great point! You will lose everything you've gained if you stop... I also like your response "Be the best YOU that YOU can be!!"

Wow, nice! What do you intend on doing once you reach your goal? Maintain or get bigger?

I will see how it goes, but to be perfectly honest I will probably carry on and get bigger

Especially when you invest so much time (and money) into reaching your goals.. I would think it would be hard to "stop" (maintain) once you reach your goal instead of reaching/wanting more... How long has it taken you to come this far?

I originally started bodybuilding in 1991, in 2000 I got married and slowed down because of family commitments, I did stop for a while but got back into it seriously and now I will never leave bodybuilding, I love it!
