Are you a Powerlifter or a Bodybuilder type?

I am personally a BBer and therefore I use straps when needed. I dont really give 2 shits how strong my grip is. Its all about how I look and not so much about how strong I am.

BUT if you want a better grip strentgh, google static holds. Very good for grip strength

Does your wrist hurt or does your hand get numb?

If so you may have carpal tunnel.

What about using fat gripz? Those may help too.

I use fatgripz and they do help my grip considering I have relatively small hands.

Another thing I can think of besides static holds which has been mentioned are squeezing a tennis ball or using Captains of Crush for grip training.

Good luck on your goals there old dog..I'm almost 49 myself and oh how time flies!
