who has the harder job - guys who start skinny looking to pack on mass, or guys who start with a couple extra pounds looking to lean up?

I will say skinny to mass, prob cos when I was young I was skinny, lol.

Apparently its good to be fat then cut down, something to do with building muscle and if your big (fat) anyway, the muscle get packs on allowing you to get bigger and then you can bring on the cardio
Dont quote me on that just something I read.
