Just got my needles and syringes in the mail. I got 1" needles which I intend to inject into the side of my thigh. I'm looking at these and I've got to say.. I think that may come very close to hitting bone. I have no fat on my legs, as in I can't pinch my leg when I stand. Is it possible for a 1" needle to go thru the muscle and hit the bone?
This is probably a really stupid question so please bare with me :o

You will be fine, I can't imagine that your legs are that thin that a 1" needle will hit the bone, It is possible to hit bone but it's quite rare.
If you're that concerned just take it nice and slow, its best not to push the needle all the way in anyway, you want to leave a couple of milimetres visible just in case the needle snaps then you have something to hold to pull it out(this is very rare so don't go thinking that it will defininately happen because it won't)
The first shot is always the worsed but once you've done it you'll wonder what all the fuss was about!
Try to keep your hand as steady as possible and take it nice and easy.
Make sure the injection site is nice and clean and away you go
