raw weight or cooked weight?

just curious for the ones that weigh there food out, do you weigh your protein raw or cooked?

People say to me its possible to be too big.....but for me I dont want a physique thats average something thats reachable, I want something thats unobtainable that looks like its so hard to get, yes women hate it, BUT I FUCKIN LOVE IT....SO FUCK IT!! why do I want this??? CAUSE NORMAL FUCKIN SUCKS!!!

I always weigh my stuff cooked. I figure it loses weight, but I'm not sure.

It's strange, I have issues getting the rice right. The rice I use says half a cup uncooked makes a 3/4 cup cooked brown rice. But following wing that I always end up with more rice than I should.

I think I'm gonna start weighing it, that way I get it right.

Always weigh everything raw. That's how most macros are calculated. To be honest I've never really understood how you are supposed to calculate calories/protein etc from cooked rice or mashed potato and so on. How do you calculate the added liquid!

always raw for me

and measure in grams never cups or anything else get decent set of scales

Cooked, cause that's how much actual edible meat is going in your body, its not like you gonna eat it raw... So for example the measurements tell you how much cooked chicken breast you should have...

But in a way you are eating the meat raw. Just that you cook it first.

What I mean by that is that having weighed it and calculated the macros of the raw meat you then cook it and eat it. Nothing changes. The macros are still the same.

I think the problem with calculating raw or cooked is when it involves food that soaks up water. Rice or pasta for example.
