I rotated to my quads for my HCG and Sust today. Sust went into right quad smooth as silk. However when pinning the HCG in my left quad I hit some snags.
1. It took some serious effort to break the skin.
2. Once in it as like traversing gravel, it was not smooth at all almost like I was hitting bone but thats obviously not possible. At least not at the depth I was at.
Has anyone else ever had something like this? Scar tissue maybe? I have zero PIP 5 minutes later but I am still curious as to what may have caused that.

Could have also been a bad bevel on the needle itself. Did you notice it was hard to get it through the stopper when you did your draw? I ask because about 10 years ago I was giving a buddy his shot. It was hard to get through the stopper and I kept trying to hit his glute and it just wouldn't go in. Finally I looked at the needle and it didn't have a bevel in it. I was basically trying to jam a 22 gauge metal straw in his ass.
Might not have been the case but something to check out next time.

That's awesome haha, no it was easy going into the stopper but then again I don't really make a mental note of that when I am doing the draw so I could be hallucinating the effort I put into it.
Still no PIP, not even tender to the touch, must have just been weird

No need to pin HCG in a muscle, pin it on fat tissue, I do it on the stomach fat.
