personally i hate squats but i still do them.
i like leg presses extensions, curls, deadlifts but just not squats BUT i still do um

I can't do squats anymore - knackered knees!!
I have to do leg presses supersetted with extensions and lunges instead

Squats have got to be, single handedly, the worst exercise ever created. Don't get me wrong, they're amazing in terms of development but they just suck so bad to perform. Just finished leg day with the first 7 sets being 4 back squats and 3 front squats with rest-pause on the final set - was an interesting drive home.

The challenge with squats is the desire to increase the weight. Fuvks you all up when you start pushing your bodies max. If you can have self control to keep weight in check and increase reps then you'll do fine even if they.are just a miserable exercise.

Just did yesterday squats after 2 weeks of no squats.
Did last set 150kg for 2 reps. Feeling good today lol
Squats are very good for overall muscle development.

front squats is very good as well.. but if ur not a good squatter the traditional way.. i would highly suggest tht u dont try these.. as u could seriously throw ur back out and have major life long back problems if dont incorrectly... this is deffinalty not an ego maneuver & def . needs to be evolved into.. but if done correctly is a massive quad builder.. !!!! Smile
