Default Just did first ever pin!

Talk about showing my age! It took me ten minutes to remember how to start a new thread!

Anyway, just did my first ever pin. Given gallons of blood before, so no fear of needles whatsoever, but you'd think I was trying to defuse a nuclear bomb the way my hands were shaking.

Pinned my outer thigh and surprise, surprise, it didn't really hurt (didn't hurt at all actually). I did wimp out a bit and only injected about 100ml this time. If I'm still alive after squirting this nasty stuff inside me I'll do about 500ml to front load in my other leg tomorrow!

Never done this before, so not sure whether to expect a bad reaction by tomorrow. I'm prepared for it, so if it don't happen, then that's a bonus.

If anyone out there is terrified of pinning and takes orals because of their fear then take it from me, it ain't that bad! . . . not yet anyway

I'm doing test E only for my first cycle. Shouldn't be at this stage, but I'm still undecided whether to go for 400ml per week for 10/12 weeks or do a longer cycle of 250ml. I am 52! Not 32!

I started doing your suggestion of 3 warm ups and 3 working sets about a month ago, having worked out percentages etc and transferred that to whatever exercise I was doing and found it to be absolutely spot on. Every last rep of every set was just about all I could manage!

So, as a thank you, I'll let you decide which of the above two options to go for!

No pressure . . . and thanks for all your advice in all your posts so far.

I would go with the 400 or 500mg per week for 10 or 12 weeks
Its a fairly basic cycle thats tried and tested and it works well

I had a feeling it might be that one. Tried and tested always sounds good, so who am I to argue. I'll go with that.

Did my 2nd pin yesterday. 200ml (of test, not just oil)into my other quad this time. It was while doing this that I realised I'd pinned 100ml of oil which is just 25ml test the first time! What a knob! Oh well, I suppose the first go was more about not sending a dose of Test E through a vein and straight to my heart than turning into the incredible hulk!

I also realised that I'd forgotten to aspirate the first time. Won't make that mistake again. As far as the pain goes, no more than a mild dead leg feeling. The 2nd pin is worse than the first so I'm guessing that's due to 9 or 10 times more test/oil going in.

Felt a lot more confident 2nd time around, so hoping that 3rd time and onwards will be a breeze.

Don't panic, I'm not going to post every time I pin. I'm only really doing this so that anyone who's never done it before can learn from my mistakes and maybe have a slight insight into what it feels like. I'll probably 'post' (I always keep one) a proper training log next week . . .

Where do you get your figures from?
100mgs of test has about 77mgs of pure test not 25mg!

Right, I'm confused now.

I'm using the Kalpa testoxyl and was presuming/guessing that 100ml of the oil had 25ml of test or that 800ml of oil had 200ml of test!

I've obviously got it wrong, so how much oil do I need to pin to get 200ml of test?

i used kapla test e and it was first time and first 2 was pain but this i put down to virgin muscle but plain sailing after

and what it says on vile is what it is
so ie 250mg test = 1ml on seringe
im asuming you have 10ml vile
