Default How Big Do You Want To Be Be?

I expect that the majority of responses will be 'massive', 'as big as I can be' and so on. This is perfectly reasonable.

2 years ago, my reply to this question would have been exactly the same.
I was desperate to put on some size, get as big as I could be and become a 'freak'. However, this stance has firmly changed.

My goal is still of course to build muscle, but to remain healthy and aesthetic. For me, size is no longer important but I appreciate that for most on here, it is.
I train very hard, my diet improves over time and I improve/grow. But, I would never sacrifice my health for extra muscle.

Who on here, consciously or unconsciously, puts muscle gain over their health?

Would someone recognize this if it were unconscious?

being massive has always been the goal for me but my health does come first. whats the point of being huge if you are not healthy to enjoy it? another thing to consider is people opinion of what massive is.... i hold weight very well at 200 pounds i look like im 220ish so for me a solid lean 240 or 250 is very big and i would consider myself massive but for my partner who teters around 300 his idea of being massive would be a lot bigger! on the other hand my partner at 240 would feel and look to others as somewhat small because he is a naturally big dude. if i were 240 people would be like bro your big. so i guess its a matter of perception to.

lol end rant.

sincerely

At 51 years old, my main goal is to just get to the gym consistently, train hard, put on muscle as I can, avoid injury, and stay in shape.

For me, in shape would be 5'11" around 215lbs with 10% BF.

Looking at me, people will comment that I "lift weights", but I don't think anyone will be calling me massive.

Currently I lift in the 165 lb weight class and have to cut to make weight.
My goal is to pack as much muscle into 181 lbs as I can to move up a class and hopefully be competitive. 181 is a tough weight class
