When Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) officially lifted the veil off its new iPhone devices Tuesday, one man in Raleigh was following along with particular curiosity: F. Scott Moody, whose Melbourne, Fla.-based company, AuthenTec, originated the technology being showboated in Cupertino.
An hour after the announcement, Moody, who has since moved to the Triangle (“The best decision we ever made,”) shared some exclusive thoughts about the phones, privacy concerns and the legacy the company he created is leaving behind.
