“Like I said before, I never repeat myself.” We’ve all been there: trying to answer those daily questions that bombard us—“Where did I put my keys?” “What was their name again?” Coming up with quicker answers to those questions could be as simple as eating more berries. That’s right: Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries have a naturally occurring plant compound called ellagic acid that sharpens memory and improves brain function. Ellagic acid may also help inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors. Blueberries are the ultimate brain food, loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. So forget stressing out trying to remember your next appointment, and add some berries to your breakfast!
