Alot of times of late I have woke up with savvier hunger at between 00:00 and 0300, I take casein protien before I go to sleep can I take a normal whey protein shake at the times of hunger or is it better to make something?

Yep. Go for it. I'd add some fats to ur shake tho. A tbsp of olive oil. Or if ur a Canuck super store has omega oil for like $7 that has olivegrape seed and flax in one.

When I'm equipoise it has to be food as I wake up 2 or 3 times(starving)!
Normally I will have a Casein shake before bed with a spoon full of peanut butter which seems to take the edge off during the night, but if I do wake after that then it will be an unflavored shake.
