Methenolone Acetate is used to promote weight gain following extensive surgery, chronic infection, or severe trauma, and in other cases that result in inadequate weight gain or maintenance. Methandrostenolone is also used to decrease muscle loss caused by treatment with corticosteroids and to reduce bone pain associated with osteoporosis.

A lot of Primoblan tablets are needed for it to be effective. 100 mg/day of the oral version is a safe estimate for reasonable gains and for women, you could get away with less; perhaps 25 mg/day. Even though the acetate ester has a 2-3 day active life, your liver will do some damage to oral Primobolan, so every day dosing will still be necessary. When men were given a 30-45 mg dose of the oral version of Primobolan, they experienced a 15-65% decrease in gonadotropin levels. 100mg is a good dose to start seeing gains, but it's not unusual to doses in the range of 200 to 300mg per day!!
