He begins each morning with eggs and toast; he enjoys a bowl of oatmeal before workouts; he has either chicken or fish with rice for lunch; he eats tuna and whole wheat pasta for dinner, and finishes off his day with yogurt and more fruit.

In 2006, Dennis Wolf got injured; he had a neck injury. Before he went for surgery, his last competition was Prague Pro in 2015.

After undergoing surgery, his career went down the rails; it was a tough moment for the bodybuilder. It took a toll on his mental health. He couldn't train or eat as he used to.

He lost lots of weight. He was already in the top 3 but went completely out of the rankings. That was the lowest point in his life.

He had previously withdrawn from an event in November 2016 after suffering an elbow injury. This was not related to his current issue.

He made his return to competition at the 2018 Arnold Classic Australia, where he placed 12th. 2021 had him working out and he regained a decent amount of muscle.
