Leave yourself out in the cold
A study published in Trends in Endocrinology & Metabolism found men who are exposed to cold temperatures for a few hours a day burnt through 30% more calories than normal. But don’t book your ticket to the North Pole just yet, the study showed people who got used to working at a (relatively) mild 15 degrees Celsius lost the most fat. Turn down the thermostat a few notches before bedtime and you’ll wake up skinnier.
