Ask postal worker for credentials!
 

A guy at the gym was telling us that he is certain he escaped a comtrolled delivery this morning by asking the postal worker for his credentials. It has been a little over a week past his expected delivery date and his stuff showed up this morning except his normal postal worker wasn't the one delivering. It was someone else so he asked for credentials and the police officer could not provide usps photo ID or anything and he said he was trying to look around him through the door into his house so he told the postal worker that he didn't order anything and he left. He wasn't carrying a bag for mail or anything and walked down the street not stopping at any other house. Pretty scary stuff.

Yea Bro thats a trip. I wouldnt even think to do that. Im pretty sure you actually have to open the pack though. Thats why I usually keep them in original pack for at least a week. You dont have control of what is sent to you....

No if you accept the package you accept the responsibility. At least that's what they say on other forums.

It may vary state to state but that is correct. I knew someone who had a controlled delivery to his house and it was accepted by his sister, he wasn't even home. The police came back in 10 minutes and made her call him and they arrested him when he walked through the door.
