Advice please, regarding Prostate PSA count from test
Hi Guys,
First of all, I'm 49 years old. I'm currently taking 2cc of Test per week for about 2 months now. My doctor had my do a PASS blood test to check the condition of my Prostate. The normal range number for the PSA blood test is 4. My blood was sent to a lab and results were sent back to my doctor. My Prostate PSA number is 26 ! The doctor called me by phone shocked! So my question is simple, is this normal when doing anabolic steroids, making your PSA Prostate number jump up from the stated normal range to an extra high PSA number. The doctor immediately spoke the cancer word as a possibility. He however doesn't know I'm taking Testosterone shot once a week. Can any of your experienced guys please give me your feedback and thoughts regarding my post. Thank you very much ! |

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects of exogenous androgenic-anabolic steroids on the human prostate gland. SUBJECT AND METHODS: A white male athlete, who was routinely using anabolic steroids, volunteered for the study. He was studied during a 15-week period of steroid self-administration. Both objective and subjective parameters were measured, including: prostatic volume (transrectal ultrasound), digital rectal examination, urine flow rate, serum acid phosphatase and prostate specific antigen, symptom scoring for bladder outflow obstruction and other associated symptoms. RESULTS: During the period of steroid self-administration, prostatic volume increased and urine flow rate decreased. The man also noticed an increase in nocturnal urinary frequency, libido and aggression. CONCLUSION: In this pilot study, the administration of exogenous androgenic-anabolic steroids has been demonstrated to have profound effects on the human prostate gland, including an increase in prostatic volume, reduction in urine flow rate and an alteration in voiding patterns. These findings warrant further investigation. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7529633 |

PSA, is a protein produced by normal, as well as malignant, cells of the prostate gland.
PSA Test (introduced in '86) measures PSA in man blood. This test has the ability to detect cancer in men prostate earlier comparing with digital rectal exam. The risk of cancer based on PSA levels follows: PSA levels under 4 ng/mL: "normal" 4 to 10 ng/mL: 20 to 30% risk 10 to 20 ng/mL: 50 to 75% risk Above 20 ng/mL: 90%. BUT one of the very imporant things here is that there are OTHER factors which can raise PSA levels and these are: - prostatitis (inflammation) - benign prostatic hypertrophy(condition in which an overgrowth of prostate tissue pushes against the urethra and the bladder, blocking the flow of urine) - Urinary Tract Infection The best way to avoid this is to maintain good prostate and overall health based on the following guidelines: Eat more fruits, vegetables and nuts. Add some pomegranate to your diet. Exercise more. Lose weight. Eat more tomatoes. ... Reduce animal protein intake. Try quercetin and pollen *Most men with an elevated PSA level turn out not to have prostate cancer; only about 25% of men who have a prostate biopsy due to an elevated PSA level actually are found to have prostate cancer when a biopsy is done.[1] 1. Second test result .....
My second test for PSA number went down to 12 because I immediately stopped with the Test injections. Clearly the testosterone injection jack's up my PSA number. The doctor again has no Knowledge of me doing juice. He scheduled me for a prostate biopsy. Having done my research on this I cancelled the appointment because for now I don't wish to be poked and prodded by a needle. Also during this test, the odds of finding something wrong is like sticking a pin into a water Mellon and hitting a seed. Thanks but no thanks for now. Last, I am taking pill medication called, FLOW MAX and my prostate no longer bothers me. At least for now.
I went off from gear. I'll stay this way until the end of this year, then get another PSA number test done to see how much lower the number goes down. Thanks guys! |

You mentioned cancer in first post...
There is a doctor who wrote a book called "CANCER IS A FUNGUS". His treatment is DIFFERENT than well known medical community. Check his site: cancerfungus.com | Simoncini Cancer Therapy |

Update ....
Well.... I turned 50 last month. I had my PSA level checked out and the blood work test came back with a PSA number of 2. I stopped doing juice and the prostate shrank back down in size and my number is normal now.
Crazy ! Seems like I'm just better off staying away from gear at my age, unfortunately! Orals have the DHT build up issue so that's not a viable option for me because I want to keep my hair. Is there something else I can try that I'm unaware of. Thanks for your input guys. |
