Difficulty performing some exercises
Anyone else have the problem where they just out-grow certain machines (Leg ext, standing calf raise, hammy curl, etc)?.
Do you try to find a way to perform the same exercise or just forget about it? Eg. Calf raises today I had to load up the smith machine with plates and do the raises like that as the calf raise machine only goes up to 410. What's an alternative to leg ext as that also only goes up to 3 something. |
I only use free weights. Ive outgrown my pile of weights and had to buy more

front squats work very well for the quads.. thts the only alt.tht i can think of.. and yes ive grown out of certain maneuvers and had to find alt... but i like tht because its makes u a better trainer in troubleshooting problem and sticking points tht you eventually have to overcome..
fyi.. front squating takes a very strict form and a strong lumbar or u can really hurt ur back.. im sure thtu already know this... |
