I would certainly put Cain Velasquez higher on the p4p list. Gsp and Benson are dominating their opponents but they don't finish. Finishers should by at the top in my opinion... My top p4p would be:
1-Jon Jones
2-Anderson Silva
3-Cain Velasquez
4-Jose Aldo
5-GSP

Yeah would defo make more sense... My MMA trainer showed it to me today and I just can't agree with it at all... But it's a promotional ranking and it looks more like a popularity contest to me... The p4p ranking is batshit insane... Would love to know what it was based on...

It's based on votes by 'media' men like mma journalists

I know... I had a look at the transparent rankings... It's a terrible ranking though...

whats unfortunate is these rankings mean less and less when chael sonnen can talk his way to the front of the line in the LHW division, GSP can hand pick diaz when hes coming off a 1 year suspension and a loss, and the HW division is so thin that cain will end up fighting bigfoot again, the same guy he destroyed last year... i agree with the p4p... no one is above silva- hes a monster and every time he steps in the cage he proves it again and again...

No one else from the elite of the LHW accepted to fight Jones, yes chael did talk his way into fighting for the belt but he was also the only one that wanted that fight. I think Jones is the best p4p fighter, dominating each fight, knocking champions left and right, still undefeated and only 25 years old. Let's hope we are gonna see a Jones vs Silva super fight soon.
