Protein pancakes! Simple Recipe
These have been discussed a lot on here over the last few weeks, so I thought id make a simple recipe for some of you to follow.
It is very similar to the oats and egg whites pancakes that people maybe aware of, but these are much nicer as they don't have that dry taste that comes with oats and also they are low on carbs (good for keto) Ingredients: 1 whole egg 4 egg whites (add more if you require) 1 scoop of instant whey (I go for banana) 20g plain flour Low fat natural yogurt Cinnamon powder (optional) 2tbsp of Semi-skimmed milk Recipe: First crack your whole egg and 4 egg whites into a bowl and gentle whisk. Don't beat the egg whites to much. Then add your plain flour and your whey and mix until it forms a batter mix Heat your shallow fan on med-high heat and add low cal spray. Pour the mixture the pan once hot. I normally make 3 thinner pancakes out of the ingredients above, but its just preference. Cook on for around 2-3 mins on both sides until lightly brown and serve with a tbsp of low fat natural yogurt. |

There is also these Kodak cakes if you want a quick mix! Just a protein shake or some egg whites and you have a complete meal depending on your macro intake.
