so 2 weeks after a (almost pec tear)
workout was a little more serious today. some pressing, some flying, nothing staggering withthe weight, but pain free. not normal, but pain free. still something going on in there and still a little damage, but the worst is over. now slow and steady may be a good thing as I might have been a little loose with the form, so will def be tightening the screws to get it back to wear it was, and in doing so will get more out of the lifts and more growth. people always talk about lowering the weight and improving from, but now I will be forced to do it, so I have to look at it as a good thing |

dont really notice it on a daily basis. when performing chest, something is still going on, but it is seemingly getting to be less and less.
other then that, my r.o.m. is good, and nothing seems to bother it. i do not want to tempt it so I will still be using strict reps with much lighter weight then accustomed to, but honestly I have been getting really good soreness in the days after chest work. it is making me start to evaluate what I have been doing and contemplate a change here and there. I am not sure exactly what, but a little more volume, ligher weight, slower tempo, more squeeze.......all the things were supposed to do anyways right? |
pretty much mate. i find when doing chest i have to go heavy (for me) to get good size gains with low reps put i do each rep very slow max strain on the muscles to break them down. do the same with all my other body parts but i do high reps works best for the rest of me kinda strange but hat works for you stick with it :)

worked up to 5 pps for squats today body weight is not cooperating nationals this weekend should give me a boost for alittle while very motivating seeing some guys I competed against up on that stage |

i know sometimes getting it right multiple times per year doesnt always work out so I just have to hope they are progressing a little SLOWER then me:) |

enough refreshing. back at it for the season. lost @ 17 pounds over the last month, so I will have to grow into the season, no problem there.
everything will round into shape in the next 4 months i hope |

switching to some genshi from tom & GBNSTORE, seeing if there is a difference. feeling like what I have isnt as strong as I would like. weight is fluctuating a little too much, and the downs are starting to mess with my head, just due to the lower calories
feeling like I need t drop 20# to be ready, but need to be much fuller and potentially put on 5-10# to really make a dent compared to last years presentation training weights are moving up slowly, but its time to move up faster |
