New to the forum
Hello all,
I am 52...6'0, 225 lbs and I have been working out for about 30 years. I have always maintained good size. My workouts over the years have not been very consistent. For the last year or so I have been hitting the gym hard and making good gains. However, I do realize that I am not a youngster anymore. I need to workout smarter for my age and get the gains I am striving for. I just recently started a cycle of tes cyp stacked with masteron. I started in Sept. and its been about 7 weeks now and I am making some good gains. Prior to this cycle I did a couple cycles back in the eighties. Honestly, I don't have a lot of experience in the gear. I am looking for strength and size. I really wanted to try gh and tes, but I couldn't find the right connect and I would like to get some advise from someone knowledgeable. I am happy that I found this site and hope to connect with people that can help me in my journey. I currently workout 5-6 days a week. Is this too much for my age now? Any advice from my experienced brothers will be helpful. Thanks D-man |

Hello, and welcome.
52 years young here. Been training about 30 years myself. Always cycled gear. You'll find some good information here, helpful knowledgeable people, and no egos... Take a look at GBNstore, first rate. I train 5 days a week, but on a three on one off - two on one off split. That way I never train for more than three days in a row. Workouts are heavy (geared towards adding size and strength), but last no longer than 45 minutes depending upon what I'm training. Just have to experiment and see what works for your body type. One thing for sure is that I don't recuperate as quickly as I used to. So, I try to train smarter. 6 days a week is too much in my opinion. Erich Quote:

Welcome to forum bro.
I think 4-5 days per week is ok, the important factor here is intensity with which you train and rest time. I know you asked this from health point of view so that is why I mention rest time and intensity. For example you can have 3 days per week hard training and 5 days per week light workouts. You need to find out which one makes you feel better. While on gear you will recover quicker that is right so you can make some adjustments while you are on cycle. Regarding sources, please dont ask this here. We have sponsors and you can talk there, read customers feedback and reviews. This sub-forum is for other questions. P.S. If someone offers you to buy any PED's via PM inform me

I pretty much echo what Erich says. I'm almost two years older than you and I've finally realised that I make my best gains when I take adequate rest. Any more than 4 times a week for a couple of weeks and I'm overtraining! |
