First meal of the day information
The first meal of the day might not be as important as you think. Recent studies suggest that skipping breakfast actually promotes muscle growth and fat loss.
This approach is commonly used by those who practice intermittent fasting. While most fitness experts agree about the importance of breakfast, this meal doesn’t do too much for your health. After all, there are lots of healthy people who skip breakfast or practice intermittent fasting. |

According to Dr. John Berardi, eating breakfast is a matter of personal choice.
If you have a clean diet and follow nutritional guidelines, then you can skip this meal. Intermittent fasting is a much better choice since it increases growth hormone levels, promotes fat loss, and delays aging. Dr. Berardi is the co-founder of Precision Nutrition. He claims that eating small, frequent meals isn’t necessary to boost metabolism. Breakfast can be beneficial for some people, but not for everyone. |
I can't miss breakfast and if I do I dont have energy and I am nervous. Give me my coffee and something to eat:p

I think this is an individual thing and even if there are people who dont eat in the morning I dont think it is good for their stomach. After 8 hours of not eating to keep 5-6 more stomach with no food may cause problems.

I usually have a protein shake first thing but if I'm trying to cut or trying to give my digestion a rest I have no problem doing intermittent fasting. I swear by it and recommend it. |
IF is not optimal for MPS and in turn muscle growth

Maybe if you are on your way to winning Mr Olympia IF might slow you down, though I doubt you'd notice. However, IF has proven health benefits, one being to give your body the chance to cleanse itself. If you are on your way to winning Mr Olympia my guess is that you are ingesting products that aren't necessarily fantastic for your health. By practicing IF occasionally you will benefit from improved blood markers, for a start. You might lose a gram or two of muscle along the way but at least you will around a bit longer to enjoy what you've got. I'm oversimplifying it slightly but in my opinion your health should come fairly high up the list. Just my opinion and, incidentally, that of plenty of others . . . |
IF promotes release of gh. So it does have its bebefits. Also,I'd your an early riser try bcaa mixed in your am drink before wo and add in some glutamine and watch the pump you get.. tremendous. .. no carbs before wo csn change your entire outlook on working out.
