i crave alot of the time.. especially sweets.. and when i do i indulge for more than 2 meals of it in a day.. and then ill get right back on track.. i feel tht its therapeutic to indulge in cravings.. because it makes u bounce back even harder when u do it.. but im an ecto-meso so i can get away with more than average when it comes to indulging sweets.. but when im done with the crave i come back even harder with my diet..

Get a fat free tub of cool whip and freeze it...then when it's frozen eat it like ice cream! That always hits the spot for me when I'm craving sweets...or the 100 cal Greek Yogurt with vanilla flavoring.

I am a peanut butter fanatic so when I get a sweets craving I mix some PB2 in a Greek yogurt. Makes me think I get to eat an entire cup of peanut butter without the damage.
Pizza craving: low carb tortilla with chicken and veggies lightly brushed with jalapeno infused olive oil on the grill. I used to try protein bars for sweets cravings but mostly they are just garbage so I'm staying away for the time being. A Snickers is still a Snickers even if it has 20 grams of protein. My biggest hump is middle of the night cravings. I keep something zero calories to drink (Crystal Light, Mio, etc) on my nightstand so when I wake up and get the urge I force myself to drink that first. Usually does the trick. |
