Default The Hamstring

The hamstrings exhibit “preferential activation” in that each individual hamstrings muscle can be divided into at least two different neuromuscular compartments. These divisions are likely one reason why it is even possible to perform a squatting motion – but that’s another topic for another time. Ultimately, using both hip extension and knee flexion exercises is necessary for full hamstrings development. Use this knowledge to target weak points in your strength or physique!
