LOL....

I think I witnessed the origin to this story live about 7 years ago. I was with an online team playing Battlefield 1942 and one of the guys on the team had just bought the taser for his wife. He wanted to test it out and we talked him into zapping himself and to do it while online using a webcam. This guy was 6ft tall about 220 lbs and in the US Army stationed in Texas. It was funny as hell and we were all laughing our asses off. The shock was not very long but long enough to knock him out. One of the other players on our team went over to his house and arrived just as he was regaining consciousness.

Differences with what we saw and this story:

It was a 50Kv model back then using the "AAA" batteries. Todays stun guns use 9V batteries with up to a few million volts.

He had an old tiny dog and his comment the next day was "I'm glad I didn't try it out on the dog, it would have killed him".

He did fall out of his recliner, but his body just tensed up flat as an ironing board, then when the zap stopped he fell over onto the floor.

The drool, piss, and crap, is all true.
