I asked one of the Dieticians at the hospital I work at and she pretty much dismissed that claim. What I'd like is for one of the people who say that is to explain the physiological mechanism by which our digestive system can tell the difference between 24 (or 30) grams of protein just consumed and say 40 grams and only utilize the smaller number?
