I can't honestly say I've ever noticed any difference in results from any different type of protein powder. Maybe those at the highest level who are totally systematic in their intake might. I just think it's a gimmick to sell more.
I just don't need instant replenishment from isolate at the extra cost when I can wait 30 minutes for the concentrate to do exactly the same thing. . . cheaper. Really doesn't change my life.
All I would suggest is that using whey concentrate for additional health benefits might make that a better option so equally, beef or pea or any of these more modern powders for whatever health benefits they offer, either over and above or instead of whey, might make them an option for some.
I tried hemp powder for its benefits one and most of it is still in the jar!
