As far as fat burning is concerned definitely. For muscle building it's a bit more complicated. Anyone who has trained while limiting carbs will appreciate the difference.
There's a bit more to intermittent fasting than training on a empty stomach. Well worth looking into the benefits. Turns the eating every three hours idea completely on its head.
