We all cheat a bit when going too heavy but there's cheating and there's bouncing. And let's be honest, when we cheat we know its an ego thing and not an aid to training. If we cheated all the time we'd get nowhere.

I just wouldn't bounce the bar when deadlifting. Or barbell rows. I might stand up a bit too much for these sometimes but I wouldn't bounce the bar.
