Excessive cardio!
Just been watching breakfast TV and they were interviewing an ex rugby player – still fit, not fat – and he was saying that he has lost two stone since he started doing ‘Strictly Come Dancing’!
It was suggested that he didn’t have two stone to lose in the first place and his reply was that all he has been doing at the moment is loads of cardio (dancing, obviously) and no weights!
It might be great for your health, but this is proof, I would suggest, that if you're not careful, excessive cardio can be detrimental to muscle building!
