That's more or less what I keep banging on about. The body doesn't work on a meal to meal or even daily basis. Over a period of days it will use what it needs as long as you give it what it needs.

Obviously if it needs 230g protein and you miss a few days that's a hell of a lot of catching up to do, but if you only manage 180g for a day or so, then eating or drinking 280g to catch up won't kill you.

Giving your digestion, your liver and your kidneys a bit of a break every so often won't harm your long term goals either. And even if it did set you back a day on your journey to freakiness it's got to be worth it if it benefits your long term health.
